Re: /5 kickstand removal

I'll take another look at my /5 when I get back to VT. Thanks to all for the info and I'll follow up when I get this done.

85 K100RS mirrors

I have an 85 K100RS and need mirrors for both sides. I can paint them to match the stock red color, OR I can get lucky. Let me know if you can help. Thanks in advance/

R60/5 debacle

I own a R60/5 Toaster. I was attempting to remove the nut holding the advance weights and broke the nut & shaft level with top of advance unit. Now what? It appears the shaft that sheared is part of the cam shaft? What are the options? It appears the cam must be removed and replaced or machined to ...

Steib Sidecar wheel

Tony,

It's a different wheel than on mine. The hub/drum is smaller and the brakes are not hydraulic. Thanks for bringing my attention to this however. Most appreciated.

Steib S501

I spoke to Vech and he doesn't have a solution as yet. He advised he cannot lace my hub to a wheel without the proper spokes or something to that effect. I emailed Blue Moon to describe my problem but, as yet, have not received a response. I appreciate your input and hoping I can figure this out.

Steib S501 sidecar wheel needed

I'm restoring a Steib S501 sidecar and I'm trying to locate spokes and a wheel to fit the brakedrum/hub on this model. I believe this is the only Steib that has a drum brake, hence, I'm finding this difficult to locate. If I could find a complete wheel assembly, including the drum/hub that would be ...

R60/2 piston installation

I'm bringing a 68 R60/2 back after a prolonged hiatus in storage. My question relates to the piston installation. Is there a front & rear direction to install each piston? I wire brushed the piston top in search of an arrow or indicator and only found two items. First and near the top of the piston ...
