Not a Klaxon, but rebuilding of a Bosch horn was written in the Fall 2010 issue of the Vintage BMW Bulletin. Volume 37, #3 The horns I’m working on are the French made Klaxon variety indicative of the /2 era. Should these sound on the bench when connected to a 6v battery or am I missing something? ...

Is it a Bosch horn and what model number

The placement of the curved washer and order of the other spacer parts are very important
I may have your model and will get some pictures if it matches mine

As I recall the the drill bit was about 1/3 of the size of the outside diameter of the idle jet and the small easy out worked well

Heating should also help as the carb body should expand quicker than the brass idle jet but never had to try

Yes ok The resistor has been removed And B+,D+,DF are connected correctly The wire going from the 30/51 (B+) generator to the 30/51 on the new regulator looks like crap !! Yea the mounts on the frame are not offset
Easy to push down on the right hand side for the brake pedal
Left side is shorter so your toe can lift up on the shifter

The R60/5 starter protection relay only works when the engine is not running (alternator not charging--blue wire on relay) and also uses a low current stater switch to close the higher current relay to power the stater motor
