Interesting, looks like the 87a is much more common than the 87b. What's the difference between an 87/87 and an 87/87b? If the right front blinker is working, then the flasher is working
Check that you have power to right rear bulb blue wire
Ground is terminated from outside of socket to inside of tail light #31 brown wire
