Seperate headlight lens from headlight reflector

I want to put a different headlight lens on my 1952 R67/2, I found the correct year. How do I seperate the current attached headlight lens from the headlight reflector? Is there a trick I need to know before trying?

Thanks, Tom

hmm....Jeff's 1954 R51/3 picture shows it with km and not miles? So did they base miles vs km on the country the bike was shipped to?

I don't have the book right now but I remember that it was a Veigel throught 1953, then it went to a VDO speedo. Or maybe it switched after 1954, my memory isn'...

Thanks Darryl

Thanks Darryl, I was stuck at your bullet number 6 and I think the alignment of the yokes of the U-joint was what I was missing to free the drive shaft. I'll try it tonight when I get home from work. In your last bullet did you mean to say "seperate the driveshaft from the final drive"? Ch...

Thanks Darryl. Correction, I

Thanks Darryl. Correction, I should have said - I have only removed the rear wheel drive from the rear "shock" tower. The rear wheel drive and the drive shaft are still together as a unit. I thought I could remove these while together from the hardy disk and then the hardy disk from the ou...

1952 R67/2 drive shaft question

I need some help guys. I have a drive shaft/gear box problem and I want to take them both out and ship them to Vech for repair. I started by taking the driveshaft out first by disassembling the rear shock - no problems there. The drive shaft is now free from the shock - but how do I remove it from t...
