R80 G/S

Looking for a source for an orange dual seat that has been modified to be lower.
That is a custom dual seat built lower. I remember seeing shops that build custom BMW seats at rallies but can’t find one currently.

Thanks, Michael

Re: 1967 R69S restoration

Great post, thanks for sharing. Always good to hear different cleaning techniques. These original Bing carburetors are becoming more expensive and rare so nice to learn ways to safely service them.

Thanks for the reply. I probably didn't specify exactly what I was looking for. I want to find out what years and models BMW offered factory installed electronic key fobs. Thanks, Michael

Electronic key fobs

OK guys, This is not a vintage question but I know there are some of you with amazing knowledge of newer BMW's as well. I posted this question on the BMWMOA site and didn't get a real answer. I'm trying to find out which BMW models had electronic ignition key fobs as an option or standard ? Looking ...

Re: Last ride of the season

Bill, Thanks for the reply. I was wondering if a 4:00 x 18 tire would fit on the front. It looks great and I'm pleased it works for you. Michael

Re: Last ride of the season

Last ride of the season is always sad. Where I live in Wisconsin the riding season is even shorter than Massachusetts. Although last month we had several days that were unseasonably warm. Thanks for posting your holiday celebration outing. What size is the front tire you are using on your sidecar ri...
