The bodywork you want is for a K75C standard seat height, not a "low seat". I've owned 2 of these wonderful motorcycles. Try the BMWMOA .

what to do next?

I think you'll find it much easier if you place the motorcycle on a platform at working height. If you don't have a motorcycle lift it is easy and fairly inexpensive to build one out of wood and place casters on it to allow you to move it easily. I just finished my 63 R50/2 and it rides wonderfully....

R50/2 Polizei electrics

I have a 63 R50/2 Polizei with 12v system. Has anyone any info regarding the 3 suppressor capacitors next to the voltage regulator. Are they magic or related to police equipment? No one I've talked to so far has knowledge about this system. I kinda want to keep the original harness intact....HELP!
