I enclosed a picture from Salis:
Nr. 20 is the inner part of the needle bearing and it has an internal groove on one side.
Should this groove face to the inside of the final drive or should it face to the outer side, the drive shaft side?

Looked underneath, nothing there.

Well not a /2, but my R51/3 is unstamped.

The manual states 90 grade, but I would like to know what API type should I purchase.
As far as I can remember, it is GL-5 but I might be wrong here.

Well I'm also reporting back :) After some adventures with this plate, I think that there is only 1 good solution, and that is to take it out, clean it thoroughly and examine carefully.
