Re: Magazines not Received

James- The Email link doesn't seem to be functioning-nor can I get it to work manually. It might be on your side, but I suspect that my computer's just wonky... Can we keep it here for the moment? I don't think there's a problem with my posted address, as I always get the magazines-except when i don...

This isn't a forum issue per se, but I don't know who to write to...

From one Barry to another, thanks for taking the measurement for me.
So far I've gotten answers ranging from 119-121mm. and yours looks like it might be 118mm. I'll probably just pick a mid-measurement and match the drum to the new brake pads-they only last about six months anyway...

How Big is a r11 Cardan brake?

Could someone measure the outside diameter of the R11 Cardan brake drum? My mechanic added an extra outside sleeve and he made it too big...it only contacts the brake pads on the very outside of the pads-no contact in the middle. I'll need to turn it down so it works.

R11 Rubber Drive Pucks

My rubber puck (no poetry intended) just bit the dust, locking up the rear wheel in the process. Mind you, this is the original piece-almost ninety years old, so it doesn't really suprise me. I've noticed that the usual restoration-type guys carry a puck for the earlier series 1 (which is a R52/62 p...
