I was digging thru some of this previously mentioned brit suff a couple days ago I did run across several pieces that had internal bores right at 28mm it's generally for early-mid 60's stuff ranging from 650-750cc's and the all rubber adapters/confirmation fittings/intake flange whatevers can be had...

bing to mikuni carb conversion

btw....... the spigot adapters for a brit bike amal to mikuni spigot adapters are close enough that only a small amount of opening up of the bolt holes will have them popping right on the bmw head if you can find them for a 500 triumph 626 concentric to mikuni spigot it will have an internal bore of...

bing to mikuni carb conversion

all you need is a spigot adapter and spigot bodied mikunis set up for a four stroke using flange mount mikunis would be a bit more work and ultimately require one off adapters either 26 or 28mm will be fine if I used 28's on one, I'd open the port to the 28mm and taper/blend it in about an inch, or ...

Re: Hard start

I guess you could make it rocket science to check a coil's output as if BMW's involved esoteric black magic but it just ain't so simple..... confirm largest open air plug gap it will jump when cool then check it again when hot and not wanting to start you could very well have carb's percolating fuel...

no need to wonder, measure what you have at full song Don't really need 300 watts, But if the Ducati alternator is smaller/lighter than the stock set-up that might be OK. I am curious as to what the smallest size alternator/generator in terms of weight which can be used and still run all the electri...

the 150 watt duc alternator is very small and light

you can regulate to any voltage you want but 12V is far more effective than 6V

fwiw... I've putzed about with several many alternative charging options for and of many different bikes

I can tell you that a ducati 370-400ish watt permanent magnet alternator from a 900SS and a few other modern Ducatis can easily be shoehorned/adapted into place and provide all the juice you'll ever need the earlier ones are about 150 watts and have all the same dimensions except they are much thinn...

Looking for Specific Type of R69S Crash Bars

seems to me that just fab'ing up a set would be a lot quicker and could even be done better..... stainless even and like eliminate the frame squeezing clamps........ which are crude, inferior, and primative...... instead anchor to the engine and transmission studs bizzare that design clamps to the t...

Why are same vintage HD's worth SO MUCH MORE than BMW's ?

now therein lies yet another very serious issue with the values of these machines....... for years any reasonably competent LEO has been very well versed in HD stamps and would seize a HD that even had anything remotely looking like a sand mark anywhere around the number pad......... so......... so ...
