Re: R69S Magneto problem

Can you give us more background? Does this happen all the time since you got the bike or did it start up after some maintenance?

Re: R69S Magneto problem

Welcome to the forum! Are you familiar with the magneto safety gap? The two spark plug leads attach to the forward side of the coil. Just below those two attachments, on the magneto body, are two "points". The gap between the ends of the plug wires at these points should be 10-11 mm. If closer than ...

Re: When did Dover White really start?

Not necessarily definitive, but I looked at some price lists on Beemergarage. For 1964, it lists white was available for the R60 and R69S. In 1966, the price list indicates white was available also for the R27. Earlier price lists don't mention color choices.

Re: Under tank mastercylinder switch replacement R/80

This appears to be something that fits water cooled VWs. The IBMWR site lists the item although not by part number. Your part number fits many VWs per the Autozone website:

Re: Avonaire mounting instructions

I just uploaded a smallish PDF to a post...didn't seem to have a problem. Maybe yours is too big?
