Re: Grooved pavement = terrifying!!!!

The French started putting longitudinal grooves (rainurages) on their main roads about 30 years ago. They didn't affect cars but scared motorcyclists. I don't remember any sympathy from the authorities but motorcyclists eventually felt that it feels dreadful but the only risk is to your confidence, ...

Re: Installing the drivetrain in my 1937 R12

Hello, If it's like my R 35, single cylinder in a star frame, designed in the 30's, it's a bit of a struggle. I checked with a German website and they confirmed I was doing it right and, when I got it together, I found my frame is a bit bent. The drive shaft should leave the final drive and engage w...

25/3 with 1951 600cc motor

Here's something on ebay.co.uk - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155222508274

Does a 600 motor in a 250 frame seem like a good idea?

There's also a 69S up for auction in a couple of weeks, if anyone is looking.

Re: Sporadic miss cold and hot

How about the wiring harness, any plugs/sockets and key/lights switch? I had a similar misfire that was an intermittent short to ground/earth.

Re: Throttle tube freeplay

If you remove the P shaped cover, you might see that the throttle twist grip and the gear it meshes with have arrows marked on them. This is where new parts should meet and gives you full throttle movement. If you move the point of meeting, replace the P cover, open the throttle to maximum and look ...
