I figured the "vorn" part and valve cutout issue.
Now trying to understand the "R" stamped.
Assuming its for the "R" series motors, or...

Cylinder placement left or right side???

Guys; I have a 1974 R/60/6 engine (based upon motor serial #4900216) in my '69 bike. Checked pressure and left side is only producing about 40 PSI. Pulled head and cylinder. Noticed cylinder is stamped (R) with an arrow pointing to front (Vorn). Am I correct that this cylinder should be on the right...

Adjusted the swing arm. did not pull the bearings...yet. That will be done. But more importantly, I now have very low compression in one cylinder. 40 #s. Time to pull her apart. Really too bad. The person I bought the bike from stated it was rebuilt with new rings etc. Don't know issue yet, but will...

Swing Arm Side Play

Houston, We have a problem.
Was noticing a strange jerky ride with a side car on my '69.
found the swing arm play way too much. Will check it out tomorrow, but may need new bearings.
