French Army R25/3

Evening
i came across this picture of an army french r25/3. Each of its lubrication points were painted yellow. I tried to find some more history on the bikes etc but came up blank... Anyone out there could shed some light on the history and if they know of one (original) for sale. Thanks Shane

My 62 R50/2 has a non standard cap and for a number of miles i had this miss occur, and starving. It took a while to work out what was the issue but one day i was riding on highway and the starving occured. I looked down onto the clear fuel filters i have on each side and i could see air in them. I installed them on my 62 R50/2 and they look great and alot safer. If it is a regular ride i would do it.

My advice Is to pull apart and give a good blow out and clean, Keeps jets as is , replace the floats with plastic, change out the gaskets but what ever you do very carefull not to strip any threads especially bowl cap. always give the threads a good clean out and if it is tight going back, stop and ...
