1. Have you left the bearings in the swingarms? I am concerned that grease and paint don't mix...also blasting media and bearings don't mix. I did something similar with the engine emblem but i wet n dry 600 prior to painting. So that when i got the part back and started sanding back the paint the surface had very little pores and no pin holes of black.

It is coming together, thanks for posting.

Thanks will do, got a bit to go before i can get her running hot. Need to rewire first. Parts were painted this week and need to now find someone who can do the hand painted pinstripes. The tank and guards all had work done to it in the past, we stripped it pretty much back the metal and found some ...

R50/2 Front Mud Guard Bracket Rivets

We have been pulling and rubbing down the front mud guard and have found a good amount of rust under the permanent guard support bracket (see attached Image).
