Very thorough work and excellent documentation. An interesting project.
We are not going into as complete a job on my 71 R75/5 and our pace, as a pair of Geezers, is much slower. We call my hobby garage "The New Geezer Garage."

My 1971 R75/5 has one rusty muffler so I bought a pair of chrome steel mufflers but now see that the existing head and crossover pipes should also be replaced. Just starting to work on my '71 R75/5. I removed the tank today and found some rusty coils among other things, including an old wasp nest. I will check the coils to see if they function properly but have begun looking for replacements. I've found Bosch 6v coils online for around $100 each plus shipp...
