Re: Brembo brake caliper torque spec.

Hey Kurt, thanks for the reply.
I have read Snowbum's page and it doesn't seem to be for the brembo caliper as it has 2 different torque values for 2 different bolts. The brembo has 2 of the same 8mm bolts so I am hoping someone has the correct torque value.

Earls fork swing arm bearing

Hey group! I am working on my 56 R69 replacing the front swing arm bearing and re setting the preload shims. I have 1.5mm shims but they are a bit loose and using my feeler gauge I can't get a 20 thousand (.5mm) gauge in. Should I use a 1.5 on one side and try a 2 on the other side with maybe some ...

Re: Testing Advance

Very interesting question. I have never checked when the points close as it is the opining that is the important thing. As yours opens at the same time then I don't think you have differential timing but as they close at different times it would effect the amount of coil saturation and maybe the ...

Re: Ultrasonic cleaner

I would not recommend using simple green (the regular stuff) as it can turn aluminum black. You need aviation simple green but is hard to find.
