Engine Stand - 1968 R50US

Hi all, I ran a couple searches of the forum and didn't find anything on point. Apologies if I overlooked something obvious. I've started tearing down my 1968 r50US for a first time rebuild. Does anyone have a source for a relatively inexpensive (relatively) /2 motor stand? I saw this item, but am n...

Sure does ... I'm thinking in threads inside are rusty (bike very rough).

In fact, I broke a pin off the Heyco pin wrench trying to get the pin loose. $25 mistake!

Stuck pivot pin

Hi all, I've got a stuck pivot pin, which is holding up removal of the swingarm on my 68 R50US. Any tips? I've been bathing as much of the pin as possible with PB Blaster, and removed the opposing pivot pin and sprayed PB Blaster into the hole, hoping it might free up the other. Not working. Any tip...

67/68 R50US

Hi all, Have read many a thread but this is my first post. I recently bought my first "/2" - a 67 or 68 R50US. It's in very rough shape. I am in the beginning stages of tearing it down for rebuild (making a runner, not a restoration), and learning as much as possible about these old machin...
