Yes, You are correct Avon

Yes,
You are correct Avon roadrider
The road has been ground to have the lines in the cement. On asphalt, no issues whatsoever.

I will check all your notes above. Looks like a good start but thanks for clarification on what the steering damper is for

Bike wobble due to grooves in freeway

hi guys
My bike(r60/2) wobbles a little on the freeway.
I usually slow down to 50 mph and hug the tank with my knees.
I have avon roadsides 90 /90-18 on the bike
Will tightening the steering damper when you hit those grooves help , or is it just because the tires are small?
Any help appreciated

Carbs keep overflowing R60/2

Hi guys, Changed the float cover, needles , and floats and completely cleaned the carb meticulously. Bike runs fine but when I shut the engine off, the carbs start a drip drip drip ,until I turn off the fuel clock. Is this normal to the BMW family? Also, I noticed that if I turned off the fuel clock...

Carb Overhaul

Hi guys. Couple of questions on overhauling the carbs for a 60/2 1.How do you get rid of the hard residue on the carbs. Can you soak it in some solvent.. 2. The overhaul gasket package Vech sent me has 6 gaskets, but I only count 4 in mine..not sure if I am missing something or have 2 extra gaskets
