Re: R60/6 value for insurance

If a person puts a $10K value on a bike, and the bike looks like it is $10K value, most likely they will not have a problem at time of a total write off claiming the $10K. Same applies to restorations, if you have a documented restoration history, and an insurance company insures the bike, they will...

Re: R60/6 right carb keeps running dry

For storage, I use stabil for long term (more than two months). You don't need an octane booster as long as you use the highest octane fuel you can get with 10% or less Ethanol. I am running 9.5 to 1 compression in my current bike as well as my now gone bike, I have never had problems with pinging u...

Re: R60/6 value for insurance

As Kurt wrote, I set the price for my two bikes and pay/Paid the premium. No problems with a payout on my recently totaled RS. I got what I had it insured for plus sales tax. Don't under insure, insure it for what you think it is worth. LOL, if the insurance company thinks you are crazy, they will t...

Re: Frame Repair Shop?

I still have my 84 R80RT to ride. It is the bike I have had since new and over the years been my major riding bike. The RS got little miles when compared. So, I am not without a bike, I just like having two, LOL. St.

Re: Frame Repair Shop?

I don't like google's privacy issues, but then as you say it is an evil to deal with and a small one. Guess I will live with it. It is so much wrapped up in my phone, I have no choice. I was hoping to get away from it on my computers. St.

Re: Frame Repair Shop?

Kurt and others, it seems the Duck Duck Go internet search engine is NOT the way to go. At one location found by a search for the company, I get the message on an un secure site, at another secure site I get the company website and it is in business. So sorry for the confusion, I am ditching DDG. As...
