I think the original BMW grips are still available, they work well and don't draw too much for the charging system to handle. I never had a problem with my two bike's charging system until I started adding extra heated clothing and lights. As for the switch, you don't have to use the factory switch,...

RPM at idle does not mean a thing. Once the bike has run a few seconds after starting the oil pressure light should go out completely and stay off. The light is not supposed to come on at any time the bike is running as long as things are working the way they should be working. This is not like the ...

You are doing the right thing, LOL sometimes we make mistakes, I have had things "repaired" only to have to repair them again because of something I put in wrong. Carbs are my biggest thing for doing this. St.

I understand, it does not hurt to look for other problems, who knows, maybe another problem existed before and led you to working on the pump? Not to say you fixed it for nothing, LOL, I am being a jerk again. This is a real head scratcher, at least you are getting some decent information and ideas ...

As far as I can tell, Max BMW lists parts as well as Boxer two valve for rebuild. Delorto is still in business if I recall. St.
