I just finished rebuilding a r50/2. I had to have the heads bored to 1 oversize. Should I change the carb main jets to acomidate the new pistons? If not what # jets should be in the carb?

When assembling the motor. as long as the timing marks line up on the crank and cam shaft. Do you have to have the crank in any certain position. The tec. book does not state that it should be in any certain position only that the marks should line up.

Thanks, I will recheck. I did set them when the top dead center mark on the flywheel was in the opening on both cylinders. I made sure the gears were on the timing marks before I closed up the engine.

advice needed

I have an r50/2 1969 that I just replaced all motor bearings, oil seals and gaskets and cleaned the slingers. I also installed new pistons and rings one size over. The motor ran before I disassembled it. I have checked the timing and valve adjustment several times, It will not start wont even backfi...

1969/r50/2 crankshaft

I am rebuilding a r50/2 motor I just purchased. I found the space between the front connecting roe at the base is .012 in or 3.03 mm. can someone please give me some advice concerning this. The motor ran great and started with one kick with no odd sounds coming from it before I dismantled it.

1961 r60/2 windshield

I don't think thee pictures went through. I am trying to find the rubber mounting parts for this after market windshield popular in the early 60s. Any info would be appreciated.
