I have a BMW R26 manufactured

I have a BMW R26 manufactured in September 1959 that was originally "Elfenbein" (Ivory) according to the BMW group archives folks. I'm not sure if it would be considered a 1959 or 1960 production year bike, but it's another white data point. The bike unfortunately received a low quality bl...

+1 on using a cork gasket

+1 on using a cork gasket with a high quality sealant on the oil pan. Some of the repro/aftermarket

Some of the repro/aftermarket exhaust parts fit poorly. Many years ago I purchased an Overlander stainless steel exhaust system for my R27 and the fit was so bad the header interfered with the frame! I shipped it all the way back to Australia from the U.S. but was never refunded my purchase price.

R75WH Carbs

Any recommendations for carbs for an R75WH engine? Mine came with later Bings (1/26/9 and 1/26/10), which I might be able to get to work with a lot of futzing, but I would prefer originals or something where somebody else has figured out a good baseline. The engine is in a 1939 R71 frame, so origina...

R75WH Rotor Removal Tool

I need to pull the rotor off the crankshaft of my R75WH engine, but my later rotor pulling tools aren't compatible.

Any recommendations as to where I can buy the tool?

My experience is that when sellers don't put a price on something, they aren't particularly interested in selling - - - or they are trolling for offers to establish a price range or eBay reserve.

I'll offer 10,000 Elbonian dollars if you throw in free shipping from your home in Elbonia.
