Update: the VAPE system works fine now with starting the R69S. It does kick back once in a while when starting but I'm not worried about that. Wow George, thanks for your extensive explanation, it really helps. Meantime I had contact with the folks at VAPE and their response gives hope I don't have to ditch their system.
