/2 conversion headers

The mufflers fit over the headers just fine, but the header angles are wrong. The German conversion mufflers appear to come from the same source. I would just like to find the proper conversion headers that I can bolt on without modifying and rechroming a set. I see that they sell these headers at '...

1959/2 conversion with R75/5 engine

I bought some new conversion mufflers that were suppose to fit on a R75/5 engine and headers with a /2 frame. Well, the stock /5 headers don't fit with these conversion mufflers. I have a message and email in to BOXERMETAL out of Chico, CA since they advertise this header setup, but no answer as of ...

Tank Lock

My R60/2 is a 1966. I'll get a blank and see what a locksmith can do. We have a couple of "old timers" in town.

Thanks

R60/2 Tank Lock

Like many people, I have a /2 with a missing key for the tank compartment. Is it better to drill out the lock and replace it, or
is it possible to have a locksmith open it and make a key? The tank is in great, original condition and am afraid of the tank
getting trashed by the locksmith.

Thanks,

Pat

R/26 Throttle perch wanted.

1960 R26 throttle/cam perch. I was trying to slightly widen the "clamp portion" of my throttle perch when installing new handlebars and was lucky enough to snap the 57 year old pot metal clamp. I found a R50/2 assembly, but it's made for two throttle cables. It came without the throttle ca...

R26 Carb

I just bought a nice 1960 R26. It's pretty much "stock", but prior owner put a Mikuni carb on it and doesn't have the original Bing. The cylinder has been bored to about a 27+. I would like to bring it back to original. Is the proper BING possible to find? Also, I've heard that these bikes...
