Re: LED lights

He is a very nice person and knows his stuff, including our BMW's! So, if he offers those, then I am sure they will work. My 6V R69S has no bar-end lights, but all my bulbs are his LED's and they work perfectly since I bought them about 5 years ago. (And what a bright headlight!)

Re: Medford Oregon BMW gone.

Terrible situation there, and feeling so sorry for business owners being hit, and of course for all people losing homes, valuables etc. I hope Twocams that your in-laws will get the help they need.

Well done James (and whoever helped)

I will explore further and keep you informed if I find anything unusual.

Congratulations and thanks,

Vin and other info of my R69S, info for Kurt

Hi Kurt and all, I have some info that can go in the Vin database that you maintain on this site. My R69S has the number 663712 on the 3 places (engine, frame and tag). BMW Germany told me it was manufactured on August 25th 1967 and delivered to "the BMW importer X" in Dakar (Senegal} on O...

Twist grip with springs

OK, I've had my 69S three days now and I'm starting to find all sorts of fun stuff. I noticed that my throttle does does not snap back when I release it. I took the twist grip off and noticed that there is a bit of spring steel riveted to the outboard end of the throttle sleeve that grabs the end of...

Jeff Dean's page dedicated to red BMW's:

Jeff Dean has a page dedicated to red BMW's:

http://bmwdean.com/boxers-red.htm

There you will find exactly what is supposed to be red and what should remain black.

Good luck with the transformation!
