Early 80's conversion back on the road again

Here's my 1966 R60/2 running a 1975 R90S engine and front wheel... This bike was originally built in Austin TX in the early 1980's and was known as "The Plumber's Bike". It was finished at Austin Sport Cycles by the owner who was a Daytona winning racer, campaigned an R100RS locally, and o...

Aftermarket hydraulic steering damper?

Anyone have a line on an aftermarket steering damper that I could use on my '66 R60/2 powered by a 1975 R90S engine? I have a bit of headshake, the friction damper does a good job, but I would like more.... Yes, I am going to re-check everything else as well. The cost of the OEM damper was a surpris...

Fedback on Danny Vu Enduro bags?

I've tried the search function... but can't find much.

Can anyone provide feedback on their ownership of the Danny Vu Enduro bags?

I have someone saying that they are poor quality and deform in the sun... which isn't what I heard before.

Thanks for the help!

My thoughts as well, they

My thoughts as well, they should know where it is made but do not... at least the parts guy didn't know and didn't offer to go grab one and look for a label.

I may call back and try again.

I don't have the original,

I don't have the original, but do have a line on one. A rebuild is my preference, but running a repro, if the are not junk would be an option

R90S tachometer ratio 2:1?

Can anyone confirm if the tachometer ratio is 2:1 or something else?

I have a R60/2 conversion with a 1975 R90S engine and would like to add a tachn. Blue Moon sells tach's for /2 that may work and come in either 2:1 or 4:1

Thank you for the help

Blue Moon Cycles reproduction speedometer?

Does anyone have experience with the repro speedo available from Blue Moon Cycles? I just called and spoke to them and they don't know where they are manufactured, but order them from a company in Germany. I am also wondering if they might be the same repro's that are commonly available on eBay for ...
