The r75 is another story, had to remove the carbs and clean and blow out, have not found kits yet but I wanted to see it ...

Wixom lower faring install on a 1968 R60US

I purchased my R60 in 1969 and have had the lower faring on and off many times. However, I have not had it on my bike for several years and now cannot remember an easy way to install the faring. Retired now and at times memory really sucks. Any hints for easy installation???? :| [/b]

A few pictures of my dismantled R26 engine

I had my local independent shop mechanic take down my engine to check it out and rebuild as needed. I have the engine with numbers to match my frame: http://twisties.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/Restoration/R26/IMG6721/749558636_4P5Yj-M.jpg http://twisties.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/Restoration/R26/IMG6719/...

I need information help from Vintage BMW experts.

I'm developing a script for a student project, and in the story the main character owns a vintage BMW (inherited from his grandfather). In the plot, he had to sell his bike in order to settle a debt. What I need your help with is: He is a "poor" guy, so to speak, so the bike is maintained ...

Firt, It has been a real pleasure the last few snowy days to discover the vast pool of knowledge and good advice within this group. A few weeks ago I got the urge to dust of my 59 R50 (stored for 5 years because of ignition issue) and try to get her running. Lack of spark was traced to key switch/bo...
