23rd Annual Nostalgia and Poker Run

This AMA-sanctioned poker run for vintage motorcycle will transport you back 40 years in time following a leisurely 60 to 80-mile loop around the backroads of north central Maryland. The event is also sponsored by the Western Maryland Motorcycle Association.

A new Adventure Route has been added. It consists of half-hardpack, for experienced riders. It's about a 65-mile loop.

If you are restoring an antique motorcycle, looking to purchase a bike, or just interested in old bikes you should attend our meet and join your nearest AMCA chapter. The 2010eet packed over 570 vendors into 880 vendor spaces covering about 13 acres for your shopping bliss. Most likely you will find your special part here or at least meet some people who will direct you where to find it.

Normally, stalwart Tom Weiss would be putting on this campout, but he and his wife will be travelling this year, and so the campout had been cancelled. However, we just received the following information:

This is an advance heads up for the 23rd annual campout at Lynch camp area E&G loops.
Everything will be the same except it will be held the weekend of Oct 13-14, 2012.

Sonoma Campout

Brent Hansen and Sue Fritzke are putting on a campout at their spread between Santa Rosa and Sebastopol, in rural Sonoma County, California. We have plenty of thick, flat grass for camping, and the stars are bright. BBQ dinner on Saturday night, coffee and hot drinks Sunday morning with breakfast pastries. Cost is $20 per person, includes dinner, breakfast, camping, and libations.

BMW Touring Club of Detroit Presents Vintage Motorcycle Days

8th Antique Bikes on Main

Sunday is the official Antique Bikes on Main event, when main street literally fills with vintage bikes of all makes and models. Not everyone rides a Harley. Come look for the Norton 750 Commando, Honda 400 Four, Ducati 250 Mach 1, Benelli Riverside, Hodaka Combat Wombat or whatever YOU used to ride. Maybe you still have that old Panhead or 750-4 Chopper. Bring it out.

Concours d'Elegance of America at St. John's - Seeking Sidecar Entrants

They are actively seeking entries for the 2012 motorcycle feature: Vintage Three Wheels. This class will include restored and unrestored three wheelers and they are searching for sidecar race rigs for entry in this class. 1970 and earlier is preferred, but will consider others on an individual basis.
