WILL A 1974 R75/6 SEAT FIT ON A LWB 1973 R75/5
THANKS. (I HAVE A 1973 R75/5 LWB BUT IT CAME WITH THE SWB SEAT AND IT RIDES ON THE BACK FENDER INSTEAD OF THE SUB FRAME. I,VE LOCATED A 1974 R75/6 SEAT.

Select your motorcycle (under Archive) and all of the other pertinent info. Better yet, just type in your 7-digit VIN and the rest will be filled in for you. You'll also be able to see what month/year your bike was built.

AFAIK, a LWB 5 and /6 seat should be the same. Things changed yet again in 1977 for the /7 seats.
