I am in the process of restoring several Bosch horns and need to repop the Bakelite connector block (these are Bosch FD6D horns).

I have one good one and plan to make 2 copies using a plaster mold and
polyethelene (the beads you buy at the hardware store and put in boiling water to melt). The electrical connections will be done using the Euro electrical screw connectors (what they use in Europe instead of wire nuts) that are similar to the originals.

Any tips or sugestions? Before I scavenge parts from repop horns, I thought I would try the DIY route. Another option might be to find a block of phenolic resin and grind/file it to shape.
