I acquired a large box of /2 parts this week...mostly interesting stuff in the original Butler & Smith packets that I can use.

but there are several items I don't recognize. Since everything else is thoroughly BMW, I think these items MUST be BMW as well ?

- a shock that is similar to an Earls Fork front shock. (I am almost certain l've seen one in a 60s sidecar fitted to a R50)

- a 10" round plate that might be a port-hole cover ??

- two mysterious crescent shaped metal shields

If any of you wise fellows can shed light on this then please feel free to enlighten me.

the shock is from the steib

the shock is from the steib sidecar S-501
The plate is for the spare wheel for the TR-500 model to cover it

Parts

The two metal, curved plates look like front number plates or pedestrian slicers (as I've heard them called).
