I dismantled the engine and the gear box from my project bike this morning.
Regarding the gearbox, externally everything looks good, and AFAIK previous owner drove the bike just before selling it to me with no issues at all.
However, before I re-assembling it back on the motorcycle later on, I would like to know whether there is a possibility to semi-disassemble the box, and check whether everything is normal?
Or must I take it completely apart?
Or is it a part that better leave it alone if no problems are on the record?

Guess the reason why nobody

Guess the reason why nobody reacts here is twofold.

1) Nobody really knows what is wrong with your transmission. Did it shift properly before? Did it make funny noise? If non of this is the case and you didn't see anything suspicious coming out of the tranny when you changed the oil ... why opening it. Drive it and see. It is not a big deal to take it out again if you find something later you don't like (noise, oil spots, jumping gears etc).
2) Get yourself a good manual

take care
