You folks....

...both have nice original plates. The McSherry plate abit faded and rubbed by the Bowden cable, and from an earlier R67/2, the Das Motorrad plate from a later bike, maybe a 1953 production, possibly upgraded at the factory to the 1954 pattern. "Baureihe 1954" is analogous to "/", was only used in mid to late 50's to indicate the 1954 type, typically with full hubs, an upgrade over the half hub version motorcycles.

FWIW, Baureihe is also use to denote the 1955 pattern of the swing arm twin, up to mid 1957. Das Motorrad even has his original cable retainer in place: looks to be a nice BMW!

thanks!! yes the bike is

thanks!!
yes the bike is upgraded to 1954 full hub.
in meantime i found some informations and is evident that in 1954 is changed the character and is less precise then 1952.
so i'm happy to know that the steering plate it's good and original!
i hope show the bike soon.

thanks to your help!
