On July 15 next year we're going to assemble the largest range of Vintage BMW models ever assembled in the U.K. We're trying to get Guinness World Records involved and we'll have full magazine, newspaper and (hopefully) television coverage of the event. This is the culmination of the 3 day Airhead Event we're holding near Lincoln and will be the biggest get-together of pre-95 R series bikes and riders ever in the U.K.

We need your help to make this happen. At the moment I'm searching for pre-war bikes. Within reason, condition is not important so long as they're in one piece and can be got to Lincoln.

More details about the event on our Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/groups/1746827132199799/ , our website -www.theairhead.co.uk - or you can email me at editor.theairhead.co.uk

If you're in the U.K. and have got one ( or more) of these early models then we really would be greatful if you could help us out here. The U.K. motorcycling press has written the whole vintage BMW movement off for too long. We're making a statement here and we'd like you to be with us! This is a one-off attempt and the opportunity may never arise again.

Thanks

Thanks in part to people on

Thanks in part to people on this forum we've now got an R32, an R42, an R52, an R11 series 5, an R12 and an R51. That's a good start but there are still plenty of gaps in the model line-up. Can anyone else out there bring a model please?
