Hey gang,
I'm at the stage of installing pistons and cylinders on my R67/2 and have a dilemma. My P&C's are marked 1 & 2 instead of L & R so I'm not positive which is left and right, however, I spied this scalloped area on my cylinder walls which, if I knew if it was supposed to face front or back would solve my problem. Anyone have the answer?
Brian

OH CRAP! Never mind, the scallop is on the same side so it has no bearing on fore or aft orientation. One side will be front facing and the other side rear facing. What the hell is this scallop for? So, I guess the question is, which cylinder is #1, the left or right?

I think 1 is left & 2 is

I think 1 is left & 2 is right....or maybe its 1 rt 2 Lft. So if you put them both on the engine the bolts & oil passages all line up the same for both?
