Howdy R90S Lovers
Just wondered if you have added a GPS to your R90S ???
If you have I would love to see how you did. Since there is limited real estate on the bars and the viewing area most likely block the speedo and tach I am at a bit of a loss on how it might work. Do you have a solution ?? Pics ??
Thanks in advance for your help.
A "new" R90S owner.

So my question is what is

So my question is what is wrong with just using a map? Your never really get lost but sometimes you dont know where you are.
I bought a GPS .....put it in my truck to pick up a RV 400 miles away. It was in Sabastapool Calif. I didnt want to go threw San Francisco. My map said I could go threw Napa wine country and still get there. Well, I went to the GPS from here. It to took me on every little "cow trail", windy road it could find. I got there but new route getting home. My paper map was out dated.... by 15 yrs. My GPS was a pain. Have fun anyway.

I'm not of the GPS era...I suppose I could use that feature on my smartphone. My parents are using their GPS (sometimes even two at the same time!) just to go down the road to their favorite restaurant. I guess they enjoy that the machine is talking to them. I, too, enjoy using my paper map...doesn't take many batteries for that!!

As for mounting a GPS, I hear people talk about Ram Mounts. Maybe google them and see what variations in mounting styles they offer.

Waze

I use the Waze app on my SmartPhone with a Ram mount. Works on both my R90s and R1150RT.

But most often, I still like the old standard map on my tankbag, both bikes.

The GPS mount is BMW, all the brackets are RAM. 3 parts I believe; the handlebar clamp with ball, the arm, and the top plate with ball. We have these in stock and pretty inexpensive. Email me and I can send pic's w/prices. dave@brownmotorworks.net
