Went for a little bike ride yesterday. Well went to the Casino and lost $80 is what I did. Going & coming the speedo was reading way higher than the tach normally reads at that speed. Speedo was at 80 mph when I was doing maybe 70 mph. Is there a cure for this?
And sometimes I pull in the clutch to start the bike and nothing. Put the transmission in Neutral and it will start. Is there a clutch switch for this? Only had the bike for a short while so everything on it is new to me.

thanks

year and model would be most

year and model would be most helpful.

But, on an Airhead, if the bike is in gear, the starter is locked out until you disengage the clutch or place it in neutral.

There is a clutch switch activated by the hand lever.

Since it's the Classic forum

Since it's the Classic forum area, I suppose he's talking about his '92 R100RT per the signature line. But yes, there is a switch on the hand clutch lever.
