So I sent an email inquiring about the purchase of some back issues in the store. After a week I have no response and attribute this to the email system that has been said to be not so reliable.

So how do I go about ordering these?

I want to avoid what happened to a friend some years ago. He ordered something in the store, never got it, could not get through to anyone by email and had to go through the trouble of dealing with his credit card company to get his money back. Sadly, he left the forum because of this.

Wayne - You'd be better off

Wayne -

You'd be better off sending an email outside the confines of the website...use your own email program like normal. Send emails to either:

the new editor, Scottie - editor@vintagebmw.org

or the webmaster, Darryl - darryl.richman@vintagebmw.org

If that doesn't work, get back to me and I'll give it a go.

Back Issues

A few years back I ordered every available back issue from the store and while it took a few weeks for them to arrive, arrive they did and in good order.

Good Luck!

Wayne, thanks for your question.

I'm new to this as well, so I don't know the complete answer to your question. However I will tell you what I know. I think the extra copies of the magazine are managed Roland Slabon and can be ordered through Roland. He is Roland dot Slabon at vintagebmw dot org

The board just approved a price drop of our past issues to make it easier for members to buy multiple copies. it was decided to reduce the price of the old magazines we have for sale on our website from $8.00 to $5.00 each, with free shipping if 5 or more copies are purchased.

Please let me know at editor at vintagebmw dot org if you fail to make progress. Thank you for reading Classic BMW Motorrader Magazine.

Back issues

Just received almost every issue from volume 5 #4 July 1977 until present with my last 1954 r51/3 purchase from member # 657
I am missing just a few
It is hard to tell which ones as each volume has different # of issues
Would Roland have a index of all volumes and number of issues per volume

Thanks
Tommy
