I'm looking for a ideas on either making or adapting a motorcycle mount for an R60/2 to attach to the end of a 4-post lift. I have seen the Black Widow mounts that attach to a trailer hitch receiver, and I could adapt one, but I am looking for better ideas. I want to be able to work on the bike when it is on the mount, including removing wheels, motor and transmission. A ramp is not needed to get the bike on and off, because there is no room from the sides and there is a hoist mounted on the ceiling.

Cantilevered hitch mount

I ended up designing a hitch mount that cantilevers from the end of the 4-post lift. Then I bought a $79 motorcycle hitch rack on Amazon for the R60/2. I had the hitch mount fabricated at Valley Fabrication in Salinas, and they did the whole thing for $180, then I had it powder coated. It came out great. The past year I have been building a garage to have a place to work on both the BMW and the Porsche 356 projects, and it is close to being done. Its nice to have both of them inside.
