I bought a 1980 R80 that was a street tracker project and the former owner shaved the caliper mount from the fork. I looked on Ebay for a lower fork slider, but not sure what year and models will fit my bike. Thanks

According to the part

According to the part numbers, sliders associated with bikes starting 1977 (ie, the /7 models) through August 1980 (ie, the 1980 model year) will fit. The left slider is part 31421233509 and the right slider is part 31421233511. These sliders accommodate a single caliper on the left slider.

I think the /6 fork sliders

I think the /6 fork sliders ('75-'76, anyway) are probably the same, with the same axle diameter, too (not a '74!). And, of course, a slider from an R65 ('79 and up) won't work. Check IBMWR; several of the parting-out specialists should have what you need for less money than new.

Good point, Konrad. The part

Good point, Konrad. The part number is the same for the /6 but the fiche says from 9/74, meaning the 1975-on models.
