New to this brand. Did search and newest 10 pages of posts did not show my issues.
Cleaning the Bing slide carbs did not see the 'disk' in the fuel pump (accelerator pump?)
Also the MAXBMW site fiche did not show exploded view of the pump so not sure what this 'disk" does or the sequence of assembly.
Bike sat since 1989 in dry garage. Engine turns over and fuel had been removed from tank before shipment from Idaho. Then sat.
Front brake hydraulics will need rebuild. 'Hope' the mstr cyl and caliper not too badly corroded.
Any help with this accelerator pump will be appreciated. Seems odd to me the pump not having a exterior linkage but apparently works off fuel flow?

R60/7 Bing Carburetor

Unless I'm mistaken the slide carburetor that came stock on the R60/7 did not have an accelerator pump of any kind. Are you sure you're not referring to the choke?

Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the reply.
Not sure but seems the carbs are original slide Bings.
This 'fuel pump' or accelerator pump in located [EDIT] between the needle jet and main jet.. Not anything I have seen on other metric bikes.

Bing carb

The Bing agency has everything you need. Their book has a detailed exploded diagram of your carb., and they have any part you might need. They are great people to work with. PH 620-767-7844, or go to their website and email them.
