To be sure, my newly acquired '74 R90S champ only has a key turn to enable the starter button?
In other words, there is no kill switch on this model, right?.. I'm used to the '76 controls.

A year or so before my motorcycle interests morphed into ownership, but, per Snowbum, the kill switch didn't happen until the "modern" switchgear was incorporated into the '75 models. The older switches from the /5 and '74 /6 models, didn't have one.
