Hello
Is someone familiar with dynamo and Regulator insystem?
I think its the same as the postwar R51/2.
Does anybody have a scheme of the wire connections?
I have some voltage regulators but the probem is that I don't know which of them fits R51model.
I appreciate any help.

How about going electronic

I don't know if your regulator is visable but if it is not, I sure would think about going with a modern solid state voltage regulator...I have had horrid problems with the voltage regulator on my Model A Ford,... sticking the points and burning up the wiring and brushes...(several times) finally I installed a diode and a ziener diode and cured the problem.... and I mounted it all inside the original voltage regulator case.... I see lots of tiny voltage regulators on EBAY and they are kinda generic... will work with the voltage they were designed for 6V positive ground, 6V neg ground...12V etc... and if you know the amperage you want it should be an easy conversion ... I believe in being as orginal as possible but this is one place I would fudge if it were me.... almost caught my car on fire last tiime my points stuck and burned up the wiring... if I had not seen the smoke it might have..
