I have just ground up restored a 1973 R75/5. The carbs were completely rebuilt a year ago and the old bike ran ok with the crabs. I cleaned and stored them. now year later ther left carb overflows with the pet cock on. It was ok fior a while, the bike runs great but will start leaking at will. I have checked the fuel for crud and checked the float settings, but it still leaks. Anyone run into something like this before?? FrankK

Just about everyone has a problem like this over time. It's either crud in the lines preventing the needle from seating, the float is not floating anymore, or the float doesn't hinge smoothly and gets hung up. Be sure the carbs are aligned mostly vertical, maybe a slight tilt of the top of the carb towards the bike.
