$1500 is a good price,

$1500 is a good price, depending on many factors. Obviously, you'll need to find headlight and mirrors. 95K miles might mean it's ready for a new clutch. You'll have to look into the past maintenance...does it burn oil, what kind of gas mileage does it get, any head work, what about basic maintenance such as transmission and wheel splines. If any of these things are not in good order, it will take more money to fix it.

Thanks, will be visiting the

Thanks, will be visiting the owner again to gather more info, I think its in top running condition he did not mention burning oil so I think its good in that area, owner is very honest the bike speedo shows 4,800 and the overall condition of the bike would lead me to believe that is original mileage however he gave me the truth the original speedo broke and was replaced at over 90,000 miles.

Gave a closer look today,

Gave a closer look today, still looks like a very nice bike but I noticd a crack in the casting where the right side fuel line goes in to the cases, crack is about 2 inches long and on the rearward case, in the automotive world that would be the bellhousing not sure what that is in BMW world,,,also there is a nice smooth shallow dent in the tank from a run in with a car

Also found the the Windjammer head light is actually the origin BMW head so just needs to be relocated same with the front turn signals.

Owner says it gets 42 mpg and when it was new it got 45 mpg , small oil leak at the rear bottom of engine, and still on the original clutch, does not burn any oil.

Has original owners manual, 100% complete tool kit, BMW air pump and a BMW shop towel

Trying to work a better price, I think at 95,000 miles something is bound to be wore out.
