OK, I don't expect that the '64 R60/2 brakes are going to impress me.

But, on my bike, I can only generate about 1/3 of the stopping power with the front that I can the rear.

I would assume that the front brake should at least be as or more powerful than the rear.

About how much should I be expecting from the front vs the rear?

The bike is not really rideable in traffic now and before I tear into it, I'd like to get an idea of where I should be.

TIA, Brian.

Find Duane Ausherman's

Find Duane Ausherman's website...he has a good section on drum brakes. You probably just need to adjust them.
