Hi Mookie! It's not too

Hi Mookie! It's not too difficult to do.

First, select the picture you'd like to use as your avatar. It needs to be fairly small, only 85x85 pixels. If it isn't square, then the system will convert it and it will look funny. If you don't have a program to edit photos, there are several free ones available. For Windows, there's a program called irfanview that you can download.

Once you have the picture you want, visit your account page here: http://vintagebmw.org/v7/user. If you aren't logged in, do so.

From the account page, click on the Edit tab near the top of the page. This takes you to the account edit page, where you can change your password, for example. About half way down, there's a place to upload your picture. Click the Browse button, find your picture on your computer and click Open. When you get back to the account edit page, click the save button at the bottom.

That's it.

You can also set a forum signature on the account edit page. This is a sign off that appears at the bottom of every post you make.

Thanks for the quick response. I'll have to come up with a pic I like now.
