Hi, I've searched around and have come up empty. I'm in need of a source for the tach light bulb

Or at least the wattage and base configuration. My manual neglects to mention. If I had the specs I might find them at an auto parts. I did see a set of bulbs on the internet, but I can't find it again. Thanks.

The bulb is the T 3-1/4 type of bulb. Basically 12v 3w. BMW Hucky shows what it looks like, part 07 11 9 978 372 at:

07 11 9 978 372 - bulb -

07 11 9 978 372 - bulb - sugg list $1.23 at any bmwcar or bmwbike dealer

but the parts fiche calls for 2 other bulbs for your cluster depending
on the function :

1.2w 63 21 7 167 000
or
3w 07 11 9 905 358

'we' call them "peanut" bulbs - again at any bmwcar or bike dealer
common bulb.

your Tacho take the 3w bulb
