I'm trying to find out about the colors BMW offered on the late /2's and US models. I know about BLUE,GREEN,WHITE,RED. Any others? How many of each? What models and why? Would it be ok to paint , say a black bike white and still call it original? Any one have an idea? Thanks JAY

I found a 63/2 garages kept since 86. She is dusty but some elbow geese will shine up well. Any one have a good straying point for one? Blue in color. And every thing is original with all matching numbers and all the bells and whirled available for bmw in 63. Not even a tare in the seat. Thanks for your input

I repair and restore "slash 2" BMW's as a hobby. I live in southern Illinois, far from Chicago. If you're still looking for a mechanic I may be able to help you out. I can be reached at 618-528-8640.
Attached is a picture of my latest project.
