The next best thing to riding a motorcycle is looking at them and talking about riding. Dust off those old Beemers, Brit or Italian motorcycles and show them off at our eighth annual Beemerfest. No interesting machine will be turned away regardless of origin. All motorcycles ridden to Fort Douglas will be part of the show.

Time is 9am - 3pm. Cost is $5 (donation to the museum); Bratwurst lunch if $5. For more information check the calendar at the Beehive Beemers web page http://beehivebeemers.org/beehivebeemer-events/beemerfest/.

"Finding Your Crossroads in Utah" With 21 national parks and monuments, 40 state parks, and seven national forests, there is no shortage of places in Utah to inspire you. Easy day rides from the Fairpark will take you into the mountains to Park City, the Utah Olympic Park, and the year-round resorts of Alta, Solitude, and Snowbird.

Salt Lake City is located between the Great Salt Lake and the west side of the spectacular Wasatch Mountains. About 530 miles west of Denver, 765 miles east of Portland and 425 miles northeast of Las Vegas, it is often called the crossroads of the west. Hosting the 2002 Winter Olympic Games infused the city with an international flavor, while still maintaining a friendly, “small city” feel.

The rally site is spread over 65 acres and close to the intersection of I-15 and I-80 for easy access. A light rail system terminal just outside the grounds provides easy transportation to thousands of hotel rooms, hundreds of restaurants and numerous quality micro breweries.

Information about the Utah State Fairpark can be found at http://utahstatefairpark.com, and information about the greater Salt Lake area can be found at “Visit Salt Lake” on their web site at http://visitsaltlake.com.

Information will be updated at http://www.bmwmoa.org/news/284888/Rally-site-set-for-2017-UTAH.htm.

Billed as Europe's largest vintage vehicle market and technical show, the first one was in 1975. Due to the popularity of the event, there are two Veterama events - now April and October. These events have saved countless vintage and antique vehicles from being lost; the availability of parts and knowledge breathes new life into many historical vehicles.

Hours are 8:30a-6:00p on Saturday and 8:30a-4:00p on Sunday. Tickets start at 12 euros per day with reduced rates for multiple days. Parking is available. Insider tickets can be purchased to allow access on Friday from 12:00p-8:00p.

More information can be found at http://www.veterama.de/en/information/visitors regarding visitors, exhibiting, and other links and things to do in the local area. Links to pictures for past events can also be seen at the above website.
